Bill Ackman’s pick-up line ruthlessly mocked online

Billionaire hedge fund supervisor Bill Ackman’s courting advice for younger males has gone viral — as hundreds of social media customers ruthlessly mock his weird pick-up line. 

Ackman, founder of Pershing Square Capital Management and a major MAGA donor, said he’s involved about a development of younger males struggling to satisfy women in public resulting from web tradition.

“As such, I thought I would share a few words that I used in my youth to meet someone that I found compelling. I would ask: ‘May I meet you?’ before engaging further in a conversation,” Ackman wrote in a put up on Saturday.

Ackman — who’s now price $9.3 billion, according to Forbes — claimed the pick-up line “almost never got a No” in his youthful days, including that “the combination of proper grammar and politeness was the key to its effectiveness.”

“Just two cents from an older happily married guy concerned about our next generation’s happiness and population replacement rates.”

Perhaps also serving to Ackman’s early romantic life — having married his first spouse, Karen Herskovitz, in 1994 — was his investment firm Gotham Partners, which he co-founded in 1992. It had grown to more than $500 million in assets just a few years later.

Users online rapidly turned the courting advice into a meme, jabbing at the pick-up line’s obvious success price — or lack thereof — in dozens of posts.
